VELM was founded on a single idea: that the precision and beauty of fine watchmaking could be reimagined as jewelry.
In design, jewelry and watches have long existed in parallel, each with its own philosophy, codes, and traditions. They meet only at the wrist, yet rarely in harmony. Our vision was to bridge that divide, creating pieces that embody the same engineering discipline, proportion, and refinement as the world’s finest timepieces.
Every piece we create follows the same ethos and material rigor as high-end horology. Stainless steel, titanium, and advanced ceramics. Geometry is deliberate, surfaces are sculpted, and every detail is executed to a watchmaker’s standard. This is jewelry conceived not as an accessory, but as an instrument of technical mastery.
The pursuit of perfection took over three years of development, an intentional process of design, prototyping, and manufacturing to achieve a standard worthy of its inspiration. Every dimension, finish, and tolerance was refined until it met the expectations of a luxury watch. Nothing was left to chance.
This vision comes from one of our founders, Vjeko, whose background bridges art, design, and horology. Trained in fine art and industrial design, and holding a Master’s in Advanced Product Design from Umeå University in Sweden, he later moved to Switzerland to pursue the craft of watchmaking. In Neuchâtel and Bienne, surrounded by master watchmakers, he learned not only technique but reverence — for precision, for material, and for the integrity of creation.
That heritage shapes every detail we make today. Jewelry designed with the mind of a watchmaker and the eye of an artist —pieces that bring true harmony to the world of modern luxury.
