VELM’s design process is rooted in the engineering principles and disciplined craft of Swiss watchmaking. Concepts like precision, reliability, tolerance, and mechanical clarity define how we build. Every piece starts as an idea drawn from time-honored craft and shaped through a contemporary lens. SHAPING THE IDEA
With inspiration set before us, each design moves through cycles of discovery: exploratory sketches, early geometry, 3D studies, and countless prototypes. What begins as a simple line evolves into proportion, purpose, and eventually, a piece of jewelry that feels inevitable.
